The MGM Toolbar provides the controls for all aspects of model usage, including managing Crop Plans and the results of growth simulation, construction of crop plans, and the viewing of simulation results. While some features of Excel may be used for some things, it is suggested that the new user use the MGM Toolbar and related features like the Shortcuts described below. On opening the workbook, the MGM Toolbar is found at the bottom of the Excel workbook window, below the worksheet tabs row.

Insert new event or crop plan
Edit selected event
Delete selected event or crop plan

Move the active event as needed within the Crop Plans worksheet.
Simulation of stand dynamics for the current Crop Plans worksheet
Execute Crop Plan(s) found in the Crop Plans worksheet
Review the results of simulations

Shortcut access to Toolbar features
Right-click on an event within the Crop Plan worksheet to set the event as the Active, or Current, event. The shortcut menu appears and allows quick access to common MGM Toolbar buttons (Insert, Edit, Delete and execution buttons). These are the common controls used when constructing and testing new Crop Plans.
