MGM License Agreement

The download, acquisition, and use of the Mixedwood Growth Model software, supporting software, and documentation (hereafter MGM) are subject to this License Agreement.  By downloading or acquiring or using MGM, you are deemed to have agreed to and accepted this License Agreement.

We (The University of Alberta, the past and present developers of MGM, and the authors of the MGM documentation) hereby grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use MGM.  You may not rent, lease, sell, or sublicense MGM.  You may not modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or emulate MGM, its source code, or documentation.

The University of Alberta, the past and present developers of MGM, and the authors of the MGM documentation make no warranty or representation, express or implied, with respect to the MGM software and documentation, its use, suitability, accuracy, or application.

The University of Alberta (including its officials, employees, students, and contractors), the past and present developers of MGM, and the authors of the MGM documentation shall have no liability or responsibility for any loss or damage arising from or as a result of the use of MGM.

Derivative products created by or from the use of MGM may not be named “MGM”, “Mixedwood Growth Model”, or “The Mixedwood Growth Model”.  MGM citations should list the MGM Development Team (i.e. the past and present developers of MGM), the model release year, the model version and revision number, the University of Alberta, and the MGM webpage: https://mgm.ualberta.ca/.

Copyright and proprietary rights for the MGM software and its documentation are owned by and shall remain the property of the past and present developers of MGM, the authors of the MGM documentation, and the University of Alberta.
