Ex.1 (Phase 2) Design the growth projection

This phase of crop plan design deals with growth, thinning, harvesting and regeneration. Here we will show how to set up a simple scenario of growing, thinning and growing the stand by inserting new events. New events are always inserted before the active event (highlighted in yellow).

  1. Click the Move Down to Next Event button () as needed to activate the Grow  event (highlighted in yellow). You can also right-click on an event row to make it the active event and show the event dialog menu, or you can right-click the event row to make it the active event.
  2. Click the Edit button () to activate the edit dialog.
    1. Enter stand ages 15 16 17 18 19 20 30  in the Grow to box. These are the stand ages at which yields will be calculated.
    2. Click the Single growth Schedule option button if it is not already set.
    3. Click OK when all entries are correct.
  3. Click the Move Down to Next Event button () to move down to next event (End).
  4. Click the Insert button (), select Grow and press OK to activate the Grow event dialog.
    1. Enter stand ages  40 50 60 70 80 90 100 110 120 130 140 150  in the Grow to box.
    2. Click OK when all entries are correct.
  5. Save the Crop Plans worksheet by clicking on the MGM Toolbar  Save button () (not the Excel save button!).
