Site index must be provided for each of the four major species (white spruce, lodgepole pine, aspen, black spruce). Reference age is 50 years for all site curves implemented in MGM. Regional definitions are applicable for the selection of site trees and the interpretation of the site index value.
A setting is provided in the Options event to specify the default site index values.
